Directions:
The Kentucky Horse Park is north of Lexington: Exit 120 off I-75. Follow signs to Park. Enter at main gate & follow signs to stables (859) 233-4303 (Main office). KY Horse Park: 4089 Ironworks Pkwy, Lexington KY 40511. Horse Park will charge a weekend parking fee for all vehicles.

Thurs: Cross-country course open-3 pm. Fri: 7:30 am- All IP, P,PT, MT and all T and TN Dressage and Show Jumping. Sat: 7:30 am-all P, PT, MT, T and TN X-C. 7:30am- N, BN & Starter Dressage. 11:00 am-Most N, BN & Starter Show Jumping (possible some Novice divisions do xc). Sun: 7:30 am-remaining N, BN & Starter X-C. Remaining Novice Show Jumping.Starter may show jump and XC on Sunday. Schedule subject to change depending on entries. Stabling: $50.00 per night Thurs-Sat night. $60 for early arrivals/layovers as Horse Park charges higher fees. You must email the show secretary to secure early arrival/late departure stabling. Non-stabled facility fee: $55/weekend. Non-Compete Horse Fee: $50.00 per horse (non-compete horses must paystabling fee Or facility fee). Late entry fee $75 (check with show secretary for availability). NO ENTRIES ACCEPTED WITHOUT FEES ACCOMPANIED BYCOMPLETED ENTRY FORMS.

Refunds: Before C.D.-Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D. -Entry no refund / stabling less $10.All Starter/Drug fees refunded.All withdrawals must be in writing & emailed before 8:00 pm of C.D. Competition cancellation-No refund. USEA Starter/D&M Fees and COVID-19 Recovery Fee Refund Policy: The USEA Starter/D&M fees ($25) and COVID-19 Recovery fee ($5), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.

Entries:
ELECTRONICENTRIES ONLY! NO FAXED ENTRIES. Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee. Double entries: Not accepted. USEAcurrent membership(Junior, Collegiate, Full, or Life) and horse registration (Limited or Full) are required at all levels, except Starter. Starter participants are exempt from USEA membership and the USEA non-member fee and do not need to pay the USEA drugs fee, starter fee, or COVID-19 recovery fee.To be complete preliminary and above entries must include proof of current USEF membership for rider, owner and trainer as well as proof of current Safe Sport compliance for rider, trainer and owner. $60 each change made after C.D. LateEntries: If accepted after closing date, include $75 late fee. Neg. Coggins required within 12 months. Health papers within 30 days should travel with horses. Please communicate by e-mail. $60 charge for bounced checks. Mathematical errors on your entry resulting in refunds of $10.00 or less will be donated to the XC jump fund. Divisions (Open, Rider, Horse) may be combined as entries warrant. Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. Awards:
Trophy & 10 ribbons per division. Dressage ribbons 1-6. We are a TIP registered event and will have awards at all levels! Be sure to include your horse’s TIP number with your entry. STARTER SERIES AWARD: Award for the highest placing horse/rider combination (Jr. and Sr.) that completes both May-Daze Horse Trials and Champagne Run at the Park Horse Trials.

Stabling/Veterinarian:
$50.00 stall per night for Thurs-Sat night. $60 per stall for early arrival or late departure as Horse Park charges more. Email show secretary to secure early/late stabling. Tack stall fees are the same as regular stalls. 800 permanent 10 x 10 stalls. Stalls doors only provided. If not stabled on grounds must pay $55 per horse weekend facility fee. NOTE: Groups wishing to stable together must use the same group/farm name on stable forms. This is the only way to ensure you are stabled together. Any stable forms with no stable with requests will be stable at stabling steward’s discretion. Per Horse Park: You will be charged an extra night if you set up your stall the night before horse arrival. Buckets may be in stall but not hung. There will be a $50 charge for use of an unauthorized stall.Any stall change request after closing date will incur a$45.00 processing fee. Stall assignments will be posted on the Champagne Run website by the evening of May 26th.

Cross-country course closed. Trade Fair & Food on grounds. Dogs must be leashed! Cross country course may be open (depending on time/weather) for 1 hour after the completion of cross-country for schooling, $35/ horse in competition, $50 for non-compete horses plus non-stabled horses must pay the $30 KY Horse Park trailer-in fee. Everyone must check in, sign a waiver, & get new pinny. Check show office for details. Check www.champagnerun.com for confirmation of your entry status. It is YOUR responsibility to notify the secretary asap of any corrections to be made to yourentry as listed on website before closing date. At all levels of eventing competition, from beginner novice through advanced, at Federation Endorsed competitions and recognized competitions, riders must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801): b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)/SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Harness must be secured and properly fitted. “Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith”.
