The Kentucky Horse Park is 3 miles north of Lexington on I-75 at exit 120. Follow signs to Park. Enter at main gate and follow signs to stables. KY Horse Park main phone: 859-233-4303. ELECTRONIC ENTRIES ONLY PLEASE. NO FAXED ENTRIES! Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee.Double entries not accepted. USEA current membership (Junior, Collegiate, Full or Life) and horse registration (Limited or Full) are required at all levels except Starter. Starter participants are exempt from USEA membership and the USEA Non-Member fee and do not need to pay the USEA drug fee or starter fee. $65 each change made after closing date. LATE ENTRIES: If accepted after closing date include a $75 late fee. Coggins within 12 months required. Health papers within 30 days should travel with horses. Please make sure your online coggins is updated through show dates. Please communicate by email. $65 charge for bounced checks. Mathematical errors on your entry resulting in refunds of $10 or less will be donated to the XC jump fund. Any refunds due to competitor’s addition errors for fees will result in a $25 handling fee. Divisons (Open, Rider, Horse) may be combined as entries warrant. An additional fees must be paid before receiving packet. May pay prior to arrival with Venmo at: Champagne-run-farm (put show in info line) or with credit card at show office. Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. More information about these can be found atwww.usef.org.

Competitor Information

Awards:
Trophy & 10 ribbons per division. We are a TIP Registered event and will have awards at all levels! Be sure to included your horse’s TIP number with your entry.

Stabling/Veterinarian:
$55.00 per stall for Thurs-Sat night. $60 per stall for early arrival or late departure as Horse Park charges more. Email show secretary to secure early/late stabling. Tack stall fees are the same as regular stalls. 800 permanent 10 x 10 stalls. Stall doors only provided. If not stabled on the grounds must pay $45 per day/per horse. NOTE: Groups wishing to stable together must use the same group/farm name on stable forms. This is the only way to ensure you are stabled together. Any stable forms with no stable requests will be stabled at stabling steward’s discretion. Per Horse Park: You will be charged an extra night if you set up your stall before the horse arrives. Buckets may be in stall but not hung. There will be a $50 charge for use of an unauthorized stall. Any stall change request after closing date will incur a $45 processing fee. Dressage:
Test & arena sizes: PT-2022USEFPreliminary Test B-Small. All MT-2022 USEF Modified Test-B-Small.All T & TN-2022 USEF Training Test B-Small. All N-2022 USEF Novice Test B-Small. All BN– 2022 USEF Beginner Novice Test B-Small. All Starter– 2022 USEA Starter Test-Small. Arenas: Sand.

Cross-Country:
PT/MT/T-2600 m @ 450 mpm. TN/N-2200 m @400 mpm. BN-2000 m @ 350 mpm. Starter: 1400-1600 meters, max height 2’3″, 250 mpm (speed faults at 350 mpm). Terrain: Open, rolling Bluegrass. All courses: Moderate difficulty,fences to height/spread with technical questions for level.Suitable for horses with some experience at their level. Be prepared to see most questions suitable for each level. Distances and speeds are weather dependent. Cross-country course closed.

Other Information:
Trade Fair and food on grounds. Dogs must be leashed! Cross country course may be open (depending on time/weather) 1 hour after the completion of cross-country on Sunday for schooling. $35 for horse in competition. $50 for non-compete horses plus non-stabled horses must pay the $30 KY Horse Park trailer-in fee. Everyone must check in, sign a waiver and get a new pinney. Check show office for details. Check www.champagnerun.com for confirmation of your entry status. It is the rider’s responsibility to notify the secretary ASAP of any corrections to be made to your entry as listed on the website before closing date. ANY CHANGES MADE AFTER CLOSING DATE WILL INCUR THE CHANGE FEE AND OLNY MADE IF POSSIBLE. EV114 Dress 1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At all levels of eventing competition, from beginner novice through advanced, at Federation Endorsed competitions and recognized competitions, riders must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801): b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)/SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Harness must be secured and properly fitted. “Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith”.
